National Convention Programs & Medals

   The following are national convention medals and the corresponding programs from my private collection. I will be adding more convention program cover pictures as I acquire the programs.

   The medals were given to the participants from the first convention in 1919 thru 1983. In 1984 (the 66th national convention) the medals could be purchased but were not issued. The American Legion still makes some traditional badges with the legion ribbon but only for distinguished guest or officers.
